The meeting point is different from tour to tour. Once you receive the voucher for your booked tour, you will find the exact meeting point reported there.
Our hostess or guide will hold a flag with the name GoRomeTour. You can’t miss it.
If you have a problem finding the meeting point please contact us through phone or chat ad we will immediately assist you. This is the reason why we suggest to be at the meeting point 15 minutes earlier.
Our goal is to allow you to have your experience in Rome no matter the weather! In case of heavy rain some area must close we will add something more to the tour visiting area no included in the
original tour or spending more time in the area accessible to the tour.
Please make sure you do all the best to show up at the meeting point 15 minutes before the tour is due to begin. This will allow us the time for everyone to get checked in and for the guide to start the tour on time. Most of the places request a prebooked timed tickets and we have to enter the monument based on time schedule. Penalty, they will not allow us to enter anymore. So if you are running late we will try to do the best we can to assist you. Phone us as soon as possible and let us know.
Private tour can be offered in Italian, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese. Write us if you have any special request. We will be happy to customize a tour for you.
We have a 24hrs cancellation policy, so you are entitled to a full refund if you cancel 24 hrs before the tour start time.
All the tour we offer can be booked as private tour or you can choose to be part of a semi private tour or group tour.
Private tour is only for your family.
Semi private tour is for a maximum of 8 people.
Group tour is for a maximum of 20 people.
Our group tours are:
Semi private from 2 to 8 people
Group tour from 2 to 20 people.
That is the reason why there is a difference on the costs of the tours.
The private and semi private will cost you more than the group tours but will also allow you to have a more personal experience.
We recommend that is always better to bring with you your ID. Some tickets are “nominative” and they may ask you to prove your ID.
You don’t need to print your voucher. Our team will have a list of the people joining the tour. But, it is always better to keep the voucher on your phone to show it and also because you have there all the information for the tour.

You can take picture for private use only. You shouldn’t use the flash and it’s forbidden to take pictures inside the Sistine Chapel.

The Vatican offer free tickets to those with disability over 74%. Please let us know before you book the tour and you have to bring with you the documentation or your disability to show at the tickets office. If you don’t comunicate that at the time of tour booking and if you don’t show the documentation we can’t book you the free ticket.
If you are a wheelchair user, keep in mind that is not possible to partecipate in a semi private tour or group tour because the wheelchair passages and regular passages are different. You have to book a private tour.
People visiting the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s basilica have to be dressed properly. You need your shoulder and your knees to be covered.
Sleeveless, low-cut garments, shorts above the knees, miniskirts are not permitted.
SECURITY CHECKS BY METAL DETECTOR
Umbrellas, Knives, Weapons are not allowed inside.
Lullage, big bags, rucksacks, are not allowed inside the Museum and have to be deposited it in the clock room. We suggest not to bring them because we enter in one side and exit in another side. This will be complicated for people who need to go back in their own all the way back to get the rucksacks.
FOOD AND DRINKS
Food is not allowed inside the exhibition halls. Alcoholic and super alcoholic are not allowed inside the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica.
VISIT TO THE SISTINE CHAPEL
Our guide will explain you the Sistine Chapel before arriving there. It is forbidden to talk inside the Sistine Chapel. Please respect the holy place, admire the silence and it is not allowed to take picture inside the Sistine Chapel.
Colosseum Information
Umbrellas, Knives, Weapons are not allowed inside.
Lullage, big bags, rucksacks, are not allowed inside the Colosseum and there is no deposit.
If you have a peace maker please let us know and bring along with you the documentation to show to security guardians.
Food is not allowed inside the Colossseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill.

You can take pictures but for privacy reason you can’t record your guide while explaining.
