When watching a film set in another city, one often finds oneself thinking how nice it would be to be there and to be able to walk around, see, experience, what the actors in the film saw with their own eyes and maybe even get to know the background of the film! How was a scene shot? Or what did the director need to make a scene come out so well? Today, accompanied by a guide who will show you the artistic side of the city and a director who will explain you the backstage of famous films set in Rome, all this will be possible.
The tour will start from the House of Cinema in Villa Borghese and continue to Via Veneto, a famous place in Rome in the 50s and 60s from a cinematographic point of view. We will continue on to Piazza Barberini, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Venezia, the Imperial Forum, the Colosseum, Circus Maximus, and Capitol Hill.
It is truly a beautiful walk through Rome in the footsteps of films and actors who have filmed in these places.
With particular reference to several famous films. Starting from Woody Allen with To Rome with Love, Mission Impossible 7 with Tom Cruise, to 007, to Gladiator, Ben Hour… it is in absolute a new tour where we will accompany you through the Rome of films, merging two arts, the historical and the cinematographic one.
