Learn about the history of the Barberini family and its cardinal Maffeo Barberini while visiting the inside art collection of Palazzo Barberini. The palace is the ancient residence created by Carlo Maderno assisted by Francesco Borromini.
Admire paintings, be astounded by the architectural structure of the palace until you are captivated in mind and body by the vision of the Triumph of Divine Providence by Pietro da Cortana that decorates the ceiling of the piano nobile hall.
CRIPT OF MONKS
The tour will continue visiting the Cript of Monks. It is a long corridor with 5 small chapels decorated with skeletons and bones of monks. Words are not enough to describe the incredible vision of which you will be silent spectators.
